On an unrelated note, Laur (XD), that's Marita's name if she had been a guy and not a girl (I would've been named Victor). Sorry, it's just a gag between me and Marita, and it made me laugh.

Ehh... yes. I am. I'm not a yaoi fan. (I do like brotherly/sibling relationships and close friendships, but that's the closest to same-happy parings I've touched upon.)
I like Sync and Florian as a close twin-like bond (They aren't technically brothers-- they're actually clones of the same person--but the could be called such). The reason why I find this interesting is because Florian is a minor character who never interacts with Sync at all, but me and my best friend "Kiz" (Purplewolf, Kiz is my nickname for Elise) developed their characters and made up odd plot lines. Florian is affectionate, but isn't attracted sexually to anything at all (the hottest person in the world could walk by and he would still have an innocent mindset), while Sync isn't particularly fond of Florian's random hugging and whatnot, but can handle it. Their conflicting personalties is interesting too (Sync being a pessimist and emo, while Florian is chipper and optimistic). I find their close relationship cute, but there isn't anything sexual involved.
On the other hand, close friendships are something I like too. Spada and Ruca are a good example. I have yet to play Tales of Innocence, but from what I've heard/seen, these two start of disliking one another, but become close friends over time. The one scene that made me like Spada and Ruca was where Ruca was badly hurt and everyone thought he was dead/really badly hurt, and when Ruca stood and woke up, Spada freaked out and hugged him (Which is what that fanart is up there), saying that he was so damn glad that Ruca was okay... ignoring the fact that Spada is making it worse because he's kinda crushing Ruca (Although Ruca says the pain is manageable). Again, isn't yaoi (Spada tries to hug another character, Ange, after hugging Ruca a few times because he feels "so damn happy right now", so he's not affectionate just to Ruca), but I like it.
So yeah. As stated before, the only character I can see having happy with another male is Original Ion, but he's the kind of person who just wants to rape the world. Because he's just that badass and screwed up. >>
